I live in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, the Poconos as well as the nearby Delaware Water Gap has many different natural features such as creeks, streams, rivers and lakes. Waterfalls, woodlands and rocky mountain terrain. With such a diverse landscape it is home to many species of plants and animals.

The Delaware Water Gap is located along the Pennsylvania/New Jersey Border and has the Delaware river running through it. The Delaware river is home to many species of fish which also supports fish eating raptors like Bald Eagles which are increasing in numbers and can be seen along the river.

The river also provides many people with various forms of recreation like canoeing, tubing, boating, fishing and camping as well as hiking and bird/nature watching to name only some.

The Poconos has many, many streams, creeks and waterfalls which provides wildlife with neccessary water as well as providing beauty.
